Members of the Guyana NRA practice on two ranges:
- Tactical Services Unit Smallbore Range (TSU Range): This indoor range is located within the compound of the Guyana Police Force Headquarters. The shooting distances are 5m, 7m, 10m, 15m and 25m. Presently the location that housed the range is under reconstruction. Indoor shooting will recommence once the new range is completed.
- Timehri Rifle and Pistol Ranges: This range is located at Yarrowkabra on the Soesdyke-Linden Highway. The range hosts fullbore shooting at distances of 300, 500, 600, 900 and 1000yds. There is also a smallbore range for IPSC and Practical pistol competitions.
The Timehri Rifle Ranges was originally built by the American Forces while based at Hopkinson Airfield (Cheddi Jagan International Airport). After being abandoned for many years, Guyana NRA shooter Mohamed when in search of it and found it. He along with members rehabilitated the ranges for fullbore shooting.
