GuyanaNRA Smallbore Section recognize Top 5 Year-End Championship winners Gordon Richards (Senior) and Jason Cox (Junior) leads the way

The Smallbore Section of the Guyana National Rifle Association (GuyanaNRA) has rewarded the top five senior and junior competitors for their 2018 year-end championship. According to Smallbore Captain, Dale Hing, the presentation of trophies followed the association’s .22 Precision Pistol and Action Pistol events.

When the Guyana National Rifle Association (GuyanaNRA), Smallbore Section held the Orinduik Development Inc. sponsored Four Stage Action Pistol Shoot on Sunday last at the Timehri Ranges, Chad Melville, Stefan John and Jason Cox emerged as the respective A, B and C Class champions.

Guyana NRA’s inaugural Independence IPSC Shoot 2018… Hopkinson, Richards and McKinnon emerge winners at inaugural event

Guyana NRA in conjunction with IPSC Guyana held its’, 2018 Independence IPSC Shoot, at the just refurbished Timehri Rifle Ranges on the Linden Soesdyke Highway. Twenty two shooters from the Guyana NRA and the Guyana Sport Shooting Foundation (GSSF) participated. The competition started with 3 IPSC Classifiers.

Harold ‘Top Gun’ Hopkinson was unstoppable on Sunday last when the Guyana National Rifle Association (Guyana NRA) Smallbore Section held a Practical Pistol Shoot at the Timehri Rifle Range. Hopkinson despite not winning any of the three stages did enough to end as the overall winner with a total of 133 points.

Hing, Dr. DaSilva take top spots as Guyana NRA 2010 season shoots off

The 2010 season of the Guyana National Rifle Association (GNRA) commenced on March 13 with a .22 precision pistol competition at the Eve Leary Ranges. As this was the first day of shooting for the year, it was decided to test the trigger fingers of the shooters and to get them going in the form of a two-day shoot.

Hing captures latest GuyanaNational Rifle Association Handgun shoot

Former Captain Dale Hing scored a commanding win in last weekend’s Practical Pistol shoot ahead of the planned Modern Optical Team competition slated for next month. Hing recorded a commanding 160 points after two stages of competition at the Timehri ranges in the competition organized by the handgun section of the Guyana National Rifle Association.

Dr. Johann Da Silva, K. Harripersaud and Gordon Richards won their respective divisions at last weekend’s Modern Optical sponsored Pistol Shooting championships staged at the Timehri ranges. Dr. DaSilva secured victory in the ‘A’ Class after staving off a strong challenge from Joseph Chin and Dale Hing, all representing the Guyana NRA handgun team.
